Many moons ago I wrote about my daughter’s trip to a foreign land to pursue a piece of paper called degree. And recently, at the ceremony where she had to queue up to be “smacked” on the head with the graduation hat, marked the end of her journey as an undergrad. I must say it was quite a strange tradition as compared to the usual graduation ceremony.
So by tomorrow, she’ll be back, insyaallah. It seemed like the four years she was gone whizzed past like a blink of an eye. Welcome home Kak Long.
