Continuing my ranting on football, now that the heartache of seeing Forest getting thumped by Swansea 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium is over, the focus is now trained at Swansea taking on Reading at the Wembley Stadium on May 30th.
Reading frequent yoyos into the Championship and BPL remind me of WBA and Sunderland which share almost similar fate. I am praying the Swans would do a Blackpool – overcame the favourite and enter the BPL on merit. It is a pity that Cardiff was trounced by Reading 3-0 at home. I am sure Vincent Tan must be livid that he is missing out a promotion to the BPL yet again. But then again, Reading is a good side with a yearning to taste the BPL so strong that they made a final flurry of good form to earn the play off place against Cardiff.
Well, I am rooting for Swansea to do the not so possible task on May 30th. Brendan Rogers’ men can upset the form book yet again and take Swansea to the pinnacle of English football once again. May the banks of River Tawe overflows with joy come May 3oth. Go Swansea go! Bury the ghosts of Vetch Field.
